AMKA was founded in 1978 in Denmark by Anna Marie Søndergaard who started importing wines as a hobby. She named the company AMKA, which is the combination of her initials and the first two letters in her husband’s name, Karsten Søndergaard. From 1980, both Anna Marie and Karsten were employed full-time by AMKA, and in 1992 their son Frank joined the management.

Our company offers you wine of the highest quality that meets the requirements of the most particular customers and inexpensive wine of high quality that was evaluated as proper to serve in conferences, presentation and seminars by high number of companies.

Today, AMKA is represented in the following 11 countries: Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Portugal and Germany.

AMKA LITHUANIA was established in 2005. Our business activity began with importing and selling quality wines and spirits to the supermarket chains in Lithuania and Latvia. As our company has achieved high results and received exceptionally positive response from proficient wine tasters, we started supplying wine to the HoReCA (Hotels-Restaurants-Café) segment and business clients.

We differ from other Lithuanian importers of spirits with our exceptionally broad assortment of wine (including not only traditional/common lands of wine production), competitive prices and offer of products that are suitable for representative sale. At the moment we represent more than forty producers of wine and spirits from all over the world.
