AMKA Denmark

AMKA DENMARK, established in 1978, is one of the most significant importers of wine and spirits in the country. The company sells to practically all supermarket and discount chains on the Danish market, as well as to nearly all convenience stores and many wine shops, hotels and restaurants.

AMKA Norway

AMKA NORWAY, established in 1970 under the name Saga Trading AS, has been owned by AMKA Denmark since 2004. It is a medium-sized importer of wines and spirits supplying Vinmonopolet as well as the on-trade, and is a major supplier to the duty-free market. All domestic marketing activities are focused on the on-trade market as sales and brand support to the off-trade are not allowed.

AMKA Sweden

AMKA SWEDEN, established in 1997, is a medium-sized, rapidly growing company which supplies Systembolaget as well as the on-trade with quality wines and spirits. All marketing activities are focused on the on-trade market as sales and brand support to the off-trade are not allowed.

AMKA Finland

AMKA FINLAND, established in 2002, is a medium-sized, rapidly growing company. The company supplies Alko and has already obtained nationwide distribution via wholesalers to the on-trade sector. AMKA FINLAND also handles sales to the Estonian market as well as the duty-free and travel retail market.

AMKA Lithuania

AMKA LITHUANIA, established in 2005, is a rapidly growing company selling quality wines and spirits to the supermarket chains and the on-trade market in Lithuania.

AMKA Latvia

AMKA LATVIA, established in 2008, sells quality wines and spirits to the supermarket chains in Latvia. The company is in the process of including sales to the on-trade market as well.

AMKA Germany

AMKA GERMANY, established in 2009, will be a rapidly growing importer of wine, spirits and beers selling to the German retail shops, the horeca sector and the Danish-German border trade.

From 1999 to 2009 AMKA owned 50% of the company Vinlageret Flensburg, selling wine and spirits to the Danish-German border trade. As AMKA wanted to establish itself 100% in the German Federal Republic, AMKA GmbH was established 1/1-2009 with office and warehouse in Flensburg.

AMKA Iceland

AMKA ICELAND, established in 2009, is owned 50% by AMKA and 50% by Bakkus ehf. The purpose is to deliver wines to the Icelandic state monopoly, restaurants and Duty Free.

AMKA Poland

AMKA POLAND, established in 2012, sells quality wines and spirits to the supermarket chains, traditional trade, HoReCa and the wine shops in Poland.

OTHER OPERATIONS

Quinta do Pégo S.A.

AMKA owns a quinta with 33 ha of vineyards in the best classified area of the Douro Valley in Portugal. The quinta produces Single Quinta Port and high quality red wine. After a total renovation the quinta opened in the spring 2009 with hotel. Quinta do Pégo is one of the most beautiful quintas in the Douro Valley - and Hotel Rural Quinta do Pégo is certainly worth a visit. www.quintadopego.com
